Almost 10 years ago, Anna met Maddie in a staircase in an apartment building in Florence, Italy, when they were both studying abroad their junior year! Several years later, they both found themselves living in Denver and looking for a roommate! Tah-daaah! Fast forward to 2021 when Anna got engaged to Alex and began looking for THE DRESS.

She wanted a long and elegant train, full skirt, dropped shoulder and neckline that would magically transform into a slim silhouette and a thigh high slit for dancing the night away!

Easier said than done, unless of course, your friend from the Florence staircase just happened to be studying Apparel Design + Production and had spent time as an in-house private label designer for a wedding boutique! Enter Maddie who was absolutely thrilled to step in and design the wedding dress Anna had been dreaming of! Love how photographer Mat Schramm captured it all!
